Sample Meeting Notice

Li Mei's e-mail meeting notice might have looked something like this:

Good Morning Everyone,

Shipping is evaluating a new automated system for addressing envelopes for large company mailings. We'd like to invite you to a meeting to get your valuable input. I've attached an agenda to this invitation for your reference before the meeting. Here are the particulars:

Date: Thursday, May 18
Time: 8:00 am
Place: Walker Conference Room, Building 2

Purpose: To discuss and evaluate several automated systems for addressing envelopes.
Goal: To select an automated system among three vendor offerings.

We'll have bagels, fruit, and coffee available at the meeting, so don't worry about breakfast. In case you don't know where Walker Conference Room is located, I've attached a map along with the agenda.

Please let me know by Thursday, May 11 if you can attend by responding to this e-mail invitation. If you have questions, or need to discuss anything related to the meeting, please call me at extension 2778.

Thanks for your consideration.
